My name is Ian lynch I was born in Salford Lancashire in 1955 ,I studied art at school but after leaving school completed an Electrical apprenticeship, after Moving to Cornwall in 1986 I was inspired by its natural beauty to start to paint. Using oil paint on canvas I found the best medium to suit my style, My aim is to try and catch atmosphere in the seascape paintings . Living in the Porth area of Newquay it has inspired many of my seascapes. I have a wife Donna and two kids Hayley and James.
